Colne Blues Society

The volunteer members of Colne Blues Society – a creative collective comprising local musicians, blues fans, and events entertainment aficionados – have been working hard to make sure the fringe element of Colne’s beloved Blues Festival can remain in the town.

In September 2021, Colne Town Council voted to cancel the festival in its current form. A number of local musicians, each of whom are long-term patriots of the event, decided to band together in an effort to preserve the festival’s heritage and ensure its longevity, forming Colne Blues Society as a result.
