- By entering the prize draw you are agreeing to these prize draw terms and conditions.
- The prize draw is being run by Colne Blues Society Ltd, c/o 7 New Market Street, Colne, Lancashire BB8 9BJ.
Eligibility to enter
- The prize draw is open to entrants over 18 years of age.
- In entering the prize draw you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim any prize that you may win.
- A maximum of one entry per individual is permitted.
- The prize draw is free to enter.
How to enter
- The prize draw will include those who have either submitted an entry e-mail or those who have donated to Colne Blues Society’s Just Giving page up to midday on 31st December 2026
- To enter the prize draw by e-mail contact competiton@colnebluessociety.org.uk
- To enter the prize draw by donation go to https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/great-british-r-and-b-festival-2024?utm_medium=CR&utm_source=CL make a donation and insert an e-mail address in the relevant field.
- Colne Blues Society will not accept responsibility if contact details provided are incomplete or inaccurate
The Prize
- The prize will be a pair of full-festival tickets for The Great British Rhythm & Blues Festival 2027
- The winner will be drawn at random
- The prize is not exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternatives will be offered.
- The decision of Colne Blues Society Ltd regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
Winner announcment
- The winner will be notified after 31st December 2026 using the e-mail provided.
- Colne Blues Society Ltd will attempt to contact the winner by e-mail up to three times.
- If the winner does not respond to the emails notifying them of their win within 14 days of the third e-mail, they will lose their right to the prize.
Receipt of the prize
- Receipt of the prize will be by mutual agreed arrangement
Data Protection and Privacy
- You consent to any personal information that you provide in entering the prize draw being used by Colne Blues Society for the purposes of administering the prize draw, and for those purposes as defined within our privacy notice.
- All entrants may apply for details of the winning participant by contacting us at office@colnebluessociety.org.uk
- The winner agrees to the release of their first name to any other prize draw participants if requested.
- An announcement of the winner’s first name will be made via Colne Blues Society’s social media platforms.
- All personal information shall be used in accordance with Colne Blues Society Ltd’s privacy notice
Limitation of liability
- Colne Blues Society Ltd is not responsible for late, lost, misdirected, mechanically reproduced, misdelivered, incomplete, illegible or unintelligible entries, messages or post: unavailable network connections: failed, incomplete, garbled, or delayed computer transmission: online failures: hardware, software or other technical malfunctions or disturbances: or any other communications failures or circumstances affecting, disrupting or corrupting the prize draw in any manner including without limitation, receipt of entries, entrance ability to participate in the prize draw, winner notification, or winner response to notification.
- Colne Blues Society Ltd does not accept any liability for any damages, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by any entrants as a result of either participating in the prize draw or being selected for a prize, save that Colne Blues Society Ltd does not exclude it’s liability for death or personal injury as a result of it’s own negligence.
General
- Colne Blues Society Ltd reserves the right to cancel the prize draw or amend these terms and conditions at any time, without prior notice.
- Colne Blues Society Ltd reserves the right (at it’s sole discretion) to disqualify any individual it finds to be attempting to undermine the entry process and/or the legitimate operation of the promotion: or otherwise fails to comply with these prize draw rules.
- The prize draw and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
